Sprite Logo History
Sprite is a colorless soft drink created by The Coca Cola Company. It was first developed in Germany in 1959 and it's previous name was Fanta Klare Zitrone. The first Sprite logo was designed in 1961, green color has been the part of sprite logo and brand identity since then. In the first logo 8 pointed star was drawn above the letter 'i' of wordmark 'Sprite'. In 1964 the logo color was changed and orange color was introduced with the green. In 1974, the star of letter i was replaced with the orange dot and a bold font was used for the wordmark. The Sprite logo was changed many times and in 2008 the six pointed angle badge was used in the logo for the first time. This badge was in gray and blue colors. Latest sprite logo was designed in 2019, it features the white wordmark with yellow dot and the green 6 pointed badge in the background.
